I am also having problems with a Wemos D1 mini with the deep-sleep. I already have about 3 projects running on Wemos D1 mini and using deep-sleep with no problem, but this board seems to be broken . I have a test code, since this board in giving me headaches. The test code, just lights up a LED for 5 seconds, then enters sleep for 10 seconds.
Depending on your router, this will likely be something like 192.168.2.1, 192.168.1.1, or 10.0.0.1 (check your router manual or the bottom of your router for details). Head to your router's wireless settings to change the Wi-Fi channel and hit apply for it to take effect. You can use the ESP8266E which sits on the Wemos D1 mini as WiFi scanner
The D1 Mini is a breadboard-compatible WiFi development board based on the ESP8266. This board is compatible with the Arduino IDE and with NodeMCU . All of the I/O pins have interrupt, PWM, I2C, and one-wire capability, except for pin D0. The board comes with three different sets of header pins: long-pin female headers, standard-pin female
The WEMOS D1 Mini. If you haven’t encountered the ESP8266 microprocessor before, you can use google, but the basic idea is that it’s a small controller which is both very cheap and allows access to WiFi. They come on various boards, but one of the most popular is a small board which is called the Wemos D1 Mini.
The D1 mini has a 3.3V ultra low dropout regulator on board, so if you connect a battery with a voltage of 3.5V-5.0V to the 5V pin and ground, it'll run fine. I would suggest doing that instead of using an external 3.3V regulator and powering it through the 3.3V pin, because in terms of linear regulators, the onboard one is probably better than
